Center for Integrated Systems, Filipino community mourn death

The family of Carmeña Luz (Bebe, Carmen) Yurong Miraflor regrets to inform you of her passing, Tuesday May 22, 2007 at Stanford Hospital where she was undergoing treatment for Leukemia. Per her wishes, no funeral service will be held and her cremated remains will be taken to Lazi, Siquijor, Philippines where she was born and lived before emigrating to the United States.

There have been three memorial services for Bebe:

  • Friday, June 1st, 2007 at 3PM, Independent Church, Lazi, Siquijor, Philippines

  • Friday, June 15th, 2007 at 4:00 pm – CIS, School of Engineering, Stanford University, Stanford, CA

  • Saturday, June 16th, 2007 at 2:00 pm – Teen Center (Old library), by Lake Elizabeth, Fremont, CA
