Youth Training Program in Responsible Citizenship and Responsive Leadership Training-Home Topics Goals Students Speakers TrainingSchedule Budget Evaluation Student Roster Photos 2004 Students - 2004 The students will come from all high schools (public and private; 3rd and 4th year) in the province of Siquijor. Our training coordinators will contact the principals to nominate at least 2 from their respective high schools. Out of these recommendations, GASA will select only 15 (plus 3 alternates) for this program. Final selection will be based on students' responses to our questionnaires and on their respective essays. The subject for the essay was on the birds in their own communities - types, characteristics, color, habitat and the kind of sounds the birds make. We also asked that their essays be written in our bisaya dialect. We received several applications along with their essays and responses to our questionnaires. The selected students/participants will receive a stipend to help defray their transportation and meal costs. Click on Budget for details.
